The linear level design and effectively scripted enemy makes replaybility unappealing to me. More so as I found many of the enemy enounters unexciting. Open door, enemy camping, around corner, enemy camping. Shooting enemy stand still while taking shots every few seconds. Then you have the melee enemy who run at you in a straight line, it's not very challenging.The gunplay is nicely balanced, along with a very appealing visual style and added humour. It's bug free and feels very fluid. All good things, you can tell there's a talented team behind this production. It's just the game itself has little to enjoy after a single playthrough as there isn't that much game to speak of. The game can be beat in under 2 hours on your first go, so to me that doesn't resemble good value.I do understand new content has been promised, and until then I'll be happy to update my review.. game crash immediately everytime after press shooting button,..wth?. If there was an award for games that look and feel the most natural fit for VR, this would probably win it for 2017. It's up there with Arizona Sunshine and Space Pirate Trainer in my "Hey come try my VR" shooters playlist. Each level only has one type of enemy and it's pretty repetitive, but I'm just about finished my first playthrough on Normal difficulty, and at no point have I felt bored with it. The T-Rex was a challenge, but I think there was an update or bug that made the velociraptors stop spawning after a while, and then I got the hang of pausing him with the rocks and shooting with the pistol. It was pretty hard to lose then. All the bosses are a bit like that, but still, the first time you reach each one is always buzzy, giant effing cyber-ninjas and demons and aliens man, little bulb headed grey aliens! Man I love this game. Think TimeCrisis with a SinCity skin. Rails mode was a fun change of play style, I recommend that for VR newbies. If the sale pack is still on, their other games are worth getting as part of the bundle. Both were enjoyable and polished. All their games are rip-offs of old classics, but the level of polish and comfort is high. Maybe not quite The Lab, but they just feel right. These guys nailed the VR concept.. Works for the first few minutes and as soon as you shoot the first robot it freezes and that's your lot . I've reinstalled it but no joy it's a Shane because it looks a good game with a great soundtrack. Although im new to VR (reformed Console peasent) this is Great game! VR FPS reminds me of House of the dead and Time Crisis meets Sin city!.
